ABOUT ME
As a specialist in elder and estate law for 15 years, I can help you get your legal ducks in a row.
I work with individuals and families, providing legal services in a variety of areas including: wills, enduring powers of attorney, estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation, trusts, retirement villages, eligibility for means-tested benefits (Residential Care Subsidy) and obtaining personal and property orders through the Family Court for vulnerable people who have lost the ability to make complex decisions.
In addition to my work for older clients, I assist families with the administration of estates and resolving disputes. I also act for corporate and charitable clients who operate residential care facilities, providing general advice and debt recovery services.
I have been in legal practice for 20 years. For a decade I led the estates and elder law team for a regional law firm in the greater Wellington region. Bryce Williams Law was established in 2024 to serve the legal needs of people nearing retirement, retirees, people who lack mental capacity, the elderly, those dealing with grief through the estate administration process, and resolving disputes post-death.
Helping people through these times in life is what motivates me. You’ll find me personable and pragmatic. As well as providing advice that is accurate and thorough, I make a point of ensuring it’s understandable. If you’re looking for a hard-working lawyer you can trust with the things that matter most, get in touch—I’d love to help you out.
